Nest Learning Thermostat 2nd gen doesn't see the Software Update menu on settings

Hi Guys,

I have Nest Learning Thermostat 2nd gen.

The device has a 4.5.1 version. It's a really old version. 

I want to upgrade this device.

But I can't see the Software menu on Settings.

In this case, how can I upgrade this device?

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your inquiry. I'd love to help.

It appears that you have the older version of the Nest Learning Thermostat, which we can no longer update. Updating the software to the latest version would only be applicable to the Nest Learning Thermostat 3rd generation, the Nest Thermostat E, and the Nest Thermostat 2020 model.

You can still use its current features without any updates. But I just want to make sure everything is covered. How's your thermostat? Please let me know if you have any other concerns or questions.

Oh, I didn't know that. Thanks for the information.

It's working fine. I just tried to update it but it doesn't have the Update menu.

So I asked it.
