Nest Learning Thermostat Gen 4 not running evaporator coils

Installed a Gen 4 learning thermostat and I’m having a couple of problems, the main issue is that my evaporator coils are not working and during cold snowy weather my exterior AC unit is freezing over. Second issue is minor, Google Home app won’t let me set gas as primary heating source the option is greyed out. Made the switch from Trane thermostat
