Nest Learning Thermostat Not learning

I have had my Nest Learning Thermostat installed for 10 days. I have it set to Auto Learning and have adjusted the temperature throughout my days on either the Nest App or the thermostat itself. After 10 days of manual adjusting it still has not set a schedule or learnt.  What am I doing wrong?

  • Firmware and software updates:
    • Ensure that your Nest Thermostat has the latest software and that the Nest app is updated to the most recent version. Updates often include improvements and bug fixes.
  • Wi-Fi Connection:
    • Confirm that your thermostat is connected to a stable and reliable Wi-Fi network. A stable connection is crucial for the thermostat to communicate with the Nest servers and learn your preferences.
  • Auto-Schedule Settings:
    • Double-check your auto-schedule settings in the Nest app. Make sure the auto-learning feature is enabled and that the thermostat is not set to "off" or "away" mode unintentionally.
  • Location Settings:
    • Ensure that the location settings on your thermostat and in the Nest app accurately reflect your home's location. This helps the thermostat understand when you are home or away.
