Nest Learning Thermostat Shows Heating but it isn't

I have always used nest products from the beginning of the company and have two homes i use them in, In my new home I installed 5 Brand New Nest 3rd Gen Learning Thermostats 6 months ago, about a month ago one started showing that the unit was running heat when the temp dropped below the set point but it wasn't, after hours on the phone with poor  goggle customer service for google nest, they sent me a replacement thermostat which took over a week to get. No heat for a week, I installed the new one, no heat , I had a service tech come and couldn't find any issues with the system, we put a cheap $50 thermostat on the system and it runs, now what to do, i have four nest thermostats that work and one that doesn't, Google is no help, a $50 thermostat doing what a $250 one should do, I want to replace them all with another brand but I already investor $1400 in the products

Nest customer service has no clue, they now want to send me a third replacement device, sounds like a software issue and I have spent money having a tech visit and they say it isn't the system, a $40 thermostat that is now operating the system while I wait for yet another replacement works better than this $250 one and Google nest does nothing except say their scripted lines

Hi BW9,

Thank you for reaching out. I understand that your heating is not turning on, and I apologize for the inconvenience this is causing. I'm happy to assist you!

Before I can help, I need to ask a few questions to better understand the situation:

  • What type of furnace do you have? (gas, electric, etc.)
  • Did you select the correct fuel type?
  • Is it showing any error messages on the display?
  • What wire labels do you have connected?

I will be awaiting your response.

Regards,

Manuel
