Just had a nest Learning Thermostat installed it seems to link with the heat link okay and lights up orange with an estimated time to get to the target temperature but it never actually turns the boiler on. The only way to heat the house is by pressing the button on the heat link and turning it to manual mode. That works and the thermostat then says manual.

Who installed the thermostat? ie Nest Pro, Electrician/Plumber/You?
Can you upload a picture of the Heat Link wiring connections, make them clear to see.
Just undo the one screw at the bottom of the H/L, but be careful as live inside. Turn off if you feel unsafe.

Hi @JJF1972,
Thanks for reaching out to the community. I'm sorry to hear that after you had a Nest Learning (3rd Gen) installed, it is not turning on the boiler even if the Nest Learning Thermostat (3rd Gen) turns orange, advising that it is turning on the heating but nothing happens, and only works in manual mode. Don't worry, help is here. @Frustratedddd, thanks for the help.
