Nest Progammer switching heating on when it shouldn’t.

  • My boiler switches on heating water when I have not programmed it to do anything.. we suddenly notice the boiler light on and hot water going through the pipes although the programmer says nothing is on. We have noticed it some 10 times over a six week period. However we don't know how many other times it may be happening that we didnt notice. Any ideas what is wrong? We had it installed in April 2020.

Probably the anti bacterial (legionaires) option on.  Took me a while to suss it.  Google search it.

Absolutely correct Johnty. Thank you very much for helping me. It was very frustrating not knowing why my boiler was apparently switching itself on. I am very grateful. Thanks, Fred
