Nest Resetting Temperature Daily

KikiC261

My nest keeps resetting my temps to 76-59. I put it back to 73-61 everyday and at some point it resets. I have researched and made sure my eco is off, my home away is off, and my mode is set to heat-cool. No schedule is set. I’m so frustrated. Does anyone have a clue as to how to fix this??

Good morning, it looks like I have the Nest Learning 3rd generation based on the size of the  display.

Hey KikiC261,

Thank you so much for keeping me updated. In this case, I have a better understanding of the device, so let's try to do some troubleshooting steps to be sure that none of these features are causing this behavior.

Usually, the Nest Learning Thermostat can learn a new schedule by itself, so let's start with these steps:

  • Choose the option Settings, select Restart, then Schedule, and finally reset the auto-schedule. This option will clear out your entire temperature schedule.
  • After the thermostat is turned on again, go to the option Nest Sense, auto-schedule, and choose the option off. Scroll down and tap the option Done

For additional information, check out this article: Disable learning for the temperature schedule.

Let me know if this information helps.

Regards,

Daniel
