I want to make the learning thermostat manual. After turning the ECO off, auto schedule off and Nest Sense off then reset it after a day or so the Nest Sense goes back to on. When it does this the temperature has a mind of it's own dropping the AC up and down. The ECO and auto schedule stays off but the Nest Sense continues to come back on.

Hi 1960-keith,
Thanks for reaching out! I can understand your situation where you'd like to manually control your thermostat temperature. Let's get this sorted — a few questions:
Looking forward for your response.

1. Nest third Gen learning.
2. December 2021.
3. Not long after installing it because we relised the ECO/Learning just wasn't for us. I found out it could be put in manual. It works fine for a while but after a few days or so it either raises or lowers the temp on its own. What I find out is the ECO and away schedule modes are still off but the Nest Sense is on.
Thanks, Keith

Hi there,
Ah, gotcha. Thanks for sharing that. Let's check this out — give these steps a try:
On the home screen, select the thermostat you want to manage.
Let me know how it works.
Thanks,
JT

Thanks, Keith

On the Home app it has ECO temperature and Auto Schedule only which they are off.
The Auto Schedule on the termostat is in the Nest Sense menu which isn't on this app. This is the issue here. Everytime the temperature moves up or down I go into the menu and find the Nest Sense on after turning it off.

Hi 1960-keith,
Thanks for being here in the Google Nest Community.
I'd like to jump in here and check if you're still having the same issue with the app. Nest Sense takes advantage of the multiple sensors and software inside your Nest thermostat. It learns from you, what temperatures you like and when, and automatically creates a schedule for you. With that, there are multiple sensors that your Nest Thermostat uses to keep it up and running and cannot be totally turned off.
Check out this link for more information.

Ryan
