3rd generation Nest learning thermostat. AC blower comes on, blowing as normal routine like heat mode. 10/15 minutes into cycle, it stops and turns on again for 2 minutes. It does not happen every time, maybe 1 or 2 times a day. I have all the options turned off, thinking it could be one of them. Issue happened for a few years now ever since Google took it over. Had my AC replaced last year and it continues. Any ideas?

Hi NiceDEboy,
Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for the delay. Some utilities install boxes to cut off power during high demand (peak) times. Check for one of these boxes on your line.
Here’s how to see if you have an energy savings box:
1. Check your meter (possibly near your air conditioner).
2. Look for a small box with one or 2 lights on it (one light is red, the other is usually green).
This box allows the utility company control to cycle your air conditioner off and on during certain peak times of the day.
Thanks,
Jenelyn
