Nest Devise is link to previous owner.

I was trying to patriciate SCE smart energy program event and it doesn't let me  . I believe devise is link to the previous owner. How can i reset it

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for the delay. A few questions: what type of Nest Thermostat do you have? You can visit this link to check what type of thermostat you have. Have you already tried to add it to the Google Home app or in the Nest app?
