Nest Thermostat App

Mt Nest thermostat has logged me out. It wont send me a reset link. I am using the correct email account and have checked my junk box and all the obvious things. Prior to it deciding to log me out the app was telling me  for the last 48 hours i was not connected to internet and there was not signal . The internet was working fine and plenty of signal as i was standing beside the router. I currently can only control my nest mannual a pain in the neck in this cold weather!

  1. Ensure that you are using the correct email address associated with your Nest account. Sometimes typos can lead to login issues.
  2. Given the previous issue with connectivity, make sure your thermostat is properly connected to the internet. If there are persistent issues, consider restarting your router or contacting your internet service provider.
  3. Ensure that your Nest app is up-to-date. An outdated app might cause compatibility issues.
  4. If you're using a mobile app, try clearing the cache and cookies in the app settings. This can sometimes resolve login-related problems.
  5. Uninstall the Nest app and reinstall it. This can sometimes resolve glitches or bugs in the application.
  6. If all else fails, go to the Nest Web App and login with your email address to see if the issue is within the Nest app itself or if you might use a different account for your thermostat.
