Nest Thermostat Issues

Does anyone have a way in to get real help? My thermostat has stopped working during a heatwave. After hours on the phone I was told that my only option was to wait 10 business days for a replacement or pay for a technician and buy a new device myself. Surely a fortune 10 company has more technical capability to stand by their quality of their product? Is there a real support area that isn’t a call center where someone can actually troubleshoot the issue and not put the onus on the customer to pay into the broken product even more?
