Nest Thermostat Keeps Going Offline

My nest thermostat keeps showing offline in the app. I will restart it at the thermostat and then it will work for a couple days and then does the same thing again. I’ve tried the troubleshooting steps. I’ve factory reset it, made sure everything is up to date, disconnected and reconnected it to wifi and we have the nest power adapter so low battery shouldn’t be an issue and it shows the battery as good. The internet isn’t the issue as nothing else regularly disconnects just the nest. I’m not sure what else to do and was wondering if anyone else had this problem!

Post pics of the wires on the nest.

Do you have a C wire connected?

I am having the exact issue. I’ve only had it about a month and it goes offline every few days. I have tried reinstalling and everything as well. I have to reset it on the thermostat every time. Please help!

If you don't have a C wire connected it could be the problem because it is not getting stable power from the R and C wires. Pull Nest and post pics of the wires.

I don’t have a c-wire but I do have the nest power adaptor which is supposed to replace the need for a c-wire.

What Nest do you have the Learning or the Nest regular with mirror glass?

You need to do the power test on the Nest and see what the Vin Lin shows.

How much is Vin changing?  A slight change like + - 1 or 2 volts is ok but if its jumping up and down 5 volts then something is wrong.

It’s changing .100s.

Seems normal less than 1 volt fluctuation. Lin is good too.

Not sure what could be the problem unless the nest is not close enough to the WiFi router and disconnects.

The mirror glass. Battery is showing as good. 3.078 V. Vin is 34.736 V and Lin is 385. Power test works fine. And nest is only 100 ft away from the router.
