Hi! I am having an issue with JUST the "HEAT" option on my Nest Thermostat Model G4CVZ. I changed EVERYTHING..all the preset "schedules" (Comfort, Eco, Sleep, and even created my OWN schedule) to ALL reflect my preferred heating temperatures on schedule.. HEAT on at 3:45 am 67 degrees...Sleep ON at 9:15 pm 59 degrees (we like it VERY cold at night). It WILL work BUT only IF I repeat ONLY if I place the temperature schedule "on hold" for a set amount of time. If I don't, the temperature has a mind of its own..sometimes it goes down by itself to 57 degrees and I have NO clue where it's getting this temperature from??? This temp is not on any of my schedules anywhere! Sometimes the heat goes up while we are ALL asleep to 72 degrees and we are ALL sweating (the only 72-degree setting I have is for the "COOL" or air conditioning of which we ONLY use in the summer as I live in New York State! Because of this issue, our heating bill was a joke going up to nearly 300.00 (usually it is around $18000 or so in cold months)!!! I even tried changing the settings to heat/cold rather than just heat thinking that maybe that would fix the issue. I've checked for updates, reset the internet, and reset the thermostat itself...we even purchased the most updated Modem and Router. BTW I do NOT have the "learning" thermostat nor do I participate in any of the special "save money" trails etc. where your thermostat goes down to save you MONEY! If this continues, I am just going back to my OLD thermostat, I NEVER had any problems at all with it! Pleas HELP..ANYONE
