I have had the Nest Thermostat for almost a year without issues. Recently I decided to create a schedule where it heats my house in the morning. It works great and heats my house in the beginning, but after about an hour the Nest decides to turn on my A/C instead of heating. I look at the thermostat and the app and it says "heating", but I can see the A/C is on because the condenser is on. The craziest part is that there is no way to turn the A/C off. I tried turning the thermostat from "heat" to "off" and then back to "heat", but it seems to just ignore the commands. It won't turn off the A/C. The only thing I have found to get it to stop is to restart the thermostat. The A/C will turn off immediately when I restart the thermostat. When it finishes restarting, the heat works fine again. There is obviously a bug in the software on my unit. Please let me know what I need to do.

Hi nestapple,
Thanks for reaching out and for being a step ahead of us. I'm sorry for the delay. I'd like to know more about it. A few questions: what type of Nest Thermostat do you have? In what country are you located? Checking your thermostat's Energy History will let you know what your thermostat is doing previously. Also, please take a look at your thermostat's power readout.
