So I have 3 Nest thermostats and one vest doorbell. All of the sudden one thermostat - the closest to my router - gets the w5 wifi error. other units and the doorbell are just fine.
Restarted the unit - no change. Reset the router - no change. Reset the unit - no change. I repeated this four times.
Has my thermostat died? It’s not that old. Frustrating the others (older) still connect. Battery appears fine.
I’m not happy. Any ideas?

The best solution and only thing that will fix this W5 issue is replacing the device. Is your thermostat still within warranty?

I will submit a claim but I don’t know. Is this a known issue?

Thanks. Now the warranty form is not functioning. Hate that I have spent so much on the nest ecosystem to have this problem. UGH

Yes I filled it out and actually heard from the customer service rep (I have a case number) and was expecting some info about a replacement but nothing yet. Thank you.
