I'm having difficulty with the wiring bit. I'm going through the setup on the app and it keeps saying my system is not compatible. I have a feeling it is...
Can someone please direct me on how to set this up?

Hello folks,
I wanted to ensure that everything was covered here.
Thanks for the wiring guide, @Patrick_Caezza.
@KateE, I hope you've got the answer you're looking for. Have you had a chance to configure your Nest Thermostat? If you're still in need of any assistance, feel free to let us know.
Regards,
Mark

Oops! I thought I had replied to Patrick. This configuration worked. My issue with proceeding in the app was that I thought the jumper wires should be counted. I've now learned the nest has an internal jumper if needed. Thank you!

I'd also like to add the following in case this happens to someone else:
Initially, the G wire was not recognized by the thermostat even though it was in securely. Everything else was setup and running. To fix this we went went to the wire configuration in the thermostat settings (thermostat-settings-wiring) and clicked update wiring. It will take you through a tutorial. We actually didn't complete the tutorial fully but it was what it needed to recognize the wire.

Hi KateE,
Thanks for the update! I'm glad to hear that you were able to reconfigure your thermostat's wiring during the setup. But I wanted to ensure you were good to go. Please let me know if you need more help.

Mark

Hello KateE,
Perfect! It looks like we can consider this one complete, so I will lock the thread within 24 hours unless I can help out with anything else.
