Hello, I recently wanted to upgrade my old Honeywell thermostat to a Nest. I have the G, W, C and R wires with a jumper from R to Rc. I went through the app installation steps, did not use a jumper because the Nest does not need one supposedly. The system will turn on the heat but not the fan. I can manually turn on the fan in the app and on the Nest and the fan will run. I also saw the options in set up to have the fan turn on automatically by the Nest if your system would not auto start on its own. Tried it both ways, it still won’t turn the fan on automatically with heat. What else can I do?
Thank you

Hi @BK1984!
Thank you for bringing your concern to our attention and posting it in the community. I apologize for the inconvenience your Nest Thermostat may be causing.
I understand that the main issue is the fan not turning on with heat. Based on the wiring, everything seems to be fine. Don't worry, I'm here to help!
This issue is usually caused during the setup process when you were asked if the fan should be automatically controlled when heating is requested. The easiest solution is to factory reset your Nest Thermostat and set it up again. Just remember to select "Yes" when prompted to control the fan automatically.
Please let me know how this goes so I can ensure you can use all the features of your device.
Regards,
Catheryn
