Nest Thermostat keeps creating schedule on its own while auto-schedule and seasonal saving is off

My Nest Thermostat keeps creating a new heating schedule (20 degrees from 1 AM to 7 AM from Monday to Friday) on its own. I delete this schedule everyday but the next day it appears again so I wake up freezing cold in the middle of the night every day. I have the auto-schedule function and seasonal saving turned off and cleared all the schedule. I just want my thermostat to stay at the temperature I've set it to be. How do I fix this?

20°C? You are lucky!!!

Mine created a schedule at 9°C

Go to the Nest App --> History and turn off the feature "Winter seasonal savings"

Hello everyone,

Thanks for reaching out here in the Google Nest Community!

I appreciate your input, @Renatoooo.

@anthony9, I'm sorry to hear about the recurring issue with your Nest Thermostat creating a new heating schedule. It can indeed be frustrating to wake up to a chilly home unexpectedly. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve the problem:

  1. Check for any thermostat actions available in the Routines. Remove or edit them if needed. This contributes to an unexpected system activation.
  2. Disable the Home and Away Assist, which switches to Eco Mode.
  3. Restart the thermostat if changes are made.

Let us know how it goes.

Regards,
Mark
