Nest Thermostat pausing during heating/cooling sessions

My thermostat will pause the cooling session only after a few minutes. Then it’ll start up again. It does this multiple times before it’ll just run constantly. I’ve seen it say on display a few times “cooling to resume in xxx minutes” has anyone else had this occur ?

I just started noticing this resume in xx minutes on my Nest. I don't recall ever seeing this before. I am interested to know what is going on. This was not part of a energy savings agreement with the local utility during their eak demand periods.
