I don't want auto-schedule or your "Eco" scheduling! I currently have a manual schedule in my Nest thermostat, but I want to turn if off when I go away. Now, I delete each day individually and set the temp I want while I'm away. But when I return home, I have to recreate the entire manual schedule, which is a pain in the neck. Is there a way to simply set a "hold" temperature, which would ignore my manual schedule?

Hi @djschoch,
Thanks for reaching out to the community. I understand you want to set a "hold" temperature on your Nest Thermostat to override your manual schedule while you're away so you don't have to re-create it later. I understand how frustrating this must be. I’m happy to assist.
To gather the necessary information, please answer the following questions:
What model of Nest Thermostat do you have? This article might be helpful: How to tell which Nest thermostat you have.
I'll be waiting for your reply.
Best regards,
Derick.

Thanks for responding (sorry for my slow response, I'm travelling a bit this summer). I have a Nest Learning Thermostat, 3rd Generation.
