Nest Thermostat showing wrong inside temp

Bought this thermostat brand new about 2 months ago. Had to change my wifi password yesterday, so after reconnecting the thermostat to the wifi, it is showing that the ambient temperature in my apartment is 263 degrees. Obviously that is not the temperature, and when I set desired temp to 72, its just runs non stop as if its trying to get to 72 from 263… please help

@kbholley,

now this is a very interesting problem since changing your Wi-Fi password has nothing to do with Temperature sensors built into your nest display.

Do us a favor and take a picture of your nest display and uploaded here. There’s got to be a logical reason why your thermostat is displaying   263°
