Nest Thermostat

Why does the Thermostat show that it will get the heat that I set in 1 hr. or some time span. How do I get the thermostat to turn on to a temp and keep the furnace running until that temp is achieved

Thank you for taking the time in letting us know about your inquiry. I'd be happy to take a look into this for you.

When you manually change the temperature on your thermostat or with the app, you'll see how long it will take for your home to reach the temperature you've chosen. A few questions: Is the heat not turning on when you activate it? Did you notice if it reached that temperature in that time? Also, does your thermostat have a C wire on its base?
