Hello,
I have a question about the capabilities of the Nest Learning Thermostat. We bought a house and it has two simple thermostats. One is for radiant in floor heating (boiler) and the other is for AC and forced air heating (fuel, not electric). Can one Nest Leaning Thermostat handle this?

Hello shawnrego,
Congratulations on your new house! The Nest Learning Thermostat is a versatile device that can handle a variety of heating and cooling systems, including radiant in-floor heating and forced air systems. However, it's essential to ensure compatibility with your specific systems.
For radiant in-floor heating (boiler), the Nest Learning Thermostat is generally compatible with systems that use low-voltage or line-voltage heating. You may need to check if your current thermostat for radiant heating is compatible with Nest Thermostats or if any additional wiring adjustments are necessary.
As for AC and forced air heating (fuel), Nest Thermostat is designed to work with most conventional forced air systems. It supports a wide range of heating sources, including gas, oil, and electric systems. But verifying the wiring with your existing thermostat is crucial.
To be sure, please share with us a photo of your current thermostat and tell us the make and model of your HVAC system.
Best regards,
Mark
