Nest Thermostats won’t load back on Google Home

So a short time ago I had to remove my Google home app because of a Dropbox connection issue at work.  When I reloaded the app my thermostat connections were gone.  All the other items I controlled via G home were back and functioning great.   I can not get the thermostats back!!  It always says the best app either can’t connect or I have the wrong password.  ( no email to reset the password is ever sent ).

I am really frustrated that I can not use these smart thermostats and will trash them for a different company soon if I can’t get them back online

Hello 1942overlanders,

I'm sorry to hear that you've lost access to your thermostats in the Google Home app. I'd be happy to take a look at this for you.

Please make sure that you're logged in with the same email address associated with your thermostats. You can verify the account connected from the Nest app's account settings. If you have the same email account, try checking the other available structures where your thermostats might be connected. Here's your quick guide on how to switch home structures.

Please let me know if that helps or if the issue still persists.

Regards,

Mark
