- What type of Nest thermostat do you have?
- What kind of HVAC system do you have?
- Is this a new installation?
- Are there any error messages?
- Would you mind sharing a picture of your wiring configuration?
- Do you notice any intervals or specific patterns between these strange behaviors?
For now, I'd suggest checking if the wires are properly connected and fully inserted into the base and if the connector buttons stay fully pressed down. Note: Before checking the wires, make sure to turn the HVAC system off through the breaker box.
