I have brought a nest learning thermostat v3. I created a account with log in with google. Everything works well but the thermostat doesn't show up in google home. When I try to add the service and login they say, you can only login with login with google, but no button. I think that this is a bug. I want to use google assistant or a routine to set the heating down when I go to sleep.
The only thing I think to do that is to unlink nest from my google account, reset the thermostat and make a new account. Then link first the service and then migrate to google. Anyone a solution?

When a thermostat is installed in the Google Nest app, it's supposed to AUTOMATICALLY show up in the Google Home app, but I've seen lots of other customers in this forum report that's not happening for some unknown reason.
Many customers have used this workaround: create a temporary second Google Nest "home/structure" in the Google Nest app, then go to that empty second "home" in the Google Home app and delete it. The thermostat then appears in the Google Home app. Apparently, doing this forces the 2 apps to sync.
