Nest and google app showing thermostat offline

Thermostat is online and working.  Reset everything.  Disconnected thermostat and router, reconnected both.  Removed therm from google home and nest apps.  Added back and still getting same msg that therm is offline

Do you have a C wire connected? Sounds like a power issue, you might have to install the C wire if you don't have one

Hello everyone,

I'm chiming in to shed some light on the situation here.

Thanks for the input, @Davidwagner.

@Kespo, I wanted to ensure you were able to try the steps from the Google Nest Help Center article shared above. How's it going? Did that help? In addition, check the battery level in the Technical Info settings. If it drops to 3.7V, pull the thermostat display from its base and charge it for an hour before reconnecting it again. Also, try reinstalling the Nest app and make sure to allow the app's permission. Restarting the router would also help establish a strong connection.

Keep me posted on how it goes.

Regards,
Mark
