Nest app not showing current temperature

Bodovlov
Community Member

My 3rd gen Nest Learning Thermostat displays target temp AND current temp, however, the app is only showing target temp.

I can see a line in the app for the current temp but there are no digits displayed.

Any suggestions?

thanks.

I just installed a nest learning thermostat and my nest app is not showing current temp either, how do I fix this?

Hey rommel05,

I am sorry to hear you are running into the issue as well. I would be more than happy to assist you and ensure you are good to go. Once you open the app, you will want to tap on your thermostat on the home screen. You should see both the target and current temp, as displayed like on thermostat itself.

I would also recommend double-checking your settings if you own a 3rd gen Nest Learning Thermostat. You can enable or disable Farsight in the Display menu. Farsight can display information on your thermostat screen when it notices you enter a room. You can choose what to display:

  • Target temperature
  • Current temperature

Please let me know if you have any questions from here.

Best regards,

Jake
