Nest compatible?

When I wire to the same labels from this Honeywell to the Nest Thermostat, I receive a e294 error, but the R wire from here is connected. Is this a compatibility issue?

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with this. No worries; we'll check this out. Just a few questions: What is the make and model of your Heating and cooling system? Did you check if the breaker is on after installing or if the wire is properly connected on the Nest thermostat base? Have you tried reinstalling the old thermostat and checking if your system still runs since the e294 error means it’s not getting any power from the system?
