Nest e thermostat sets its own temperature

I have a number of nest e thermostats installed in a home and they all keep adjusting the target temperature to 69.  I have set the target temperature both manually and by the app to 66 and they all adjust back to 69 within 24 hrs.

I’m guessing its an auto schedule issue but I have that feature turned off on all of them.
They are all controlling in floor radiant heat only, no cooling.
They are all connected to WiFi and have been updated.
I have a screenshot of the settings but don’t see how to upload it to the forum.

Hello Bojik,

It appears like you've already taken several troubleshooting steps to address the issue with your Nest Thermostats adjusting to 69 degrees despite setting them to 66 manually and through the app. Let's sort this out.

There might be a few other potential factors to consider.

  1. It's worth checking if there are any other devices or systems connected to your thermostats that could be influencing the temperature setting. Sometimes, integrations with smart home systems or other devices can inadvertently override thermostat settings.
  2. Double-check if there are any specific heating algorithms or settings within the thermostats themselves that could be causing them to default to 69 degrees. Sometimes, there are built-in features or default settings that might need adjustment.
  3. Check the app for any temperature schedules. Remove or edit them if needed.
  4. If both thermostats are adjusting at the same time, possibly a routine is being created. Remove all thermostat actions available.
