Nest heat link

Hi all,

first time on here having problems with my nest heat link. I’m not that technical so will try to keep it simple.

Had a new boiler with Nest installed a week ago. 3rd generation with learning thermostat.

The heat link all of a sudden doesn’t seem to be communicating with boiler.

I have no hot water so did my checks, thermostat is connected to wi-fi and heat link has a green light indicating that’s it connected to thermostat.. did a reset just in case as it’s deffo connected.

So any updates on the schedule on the Nest app are reflecting on the thermostat. But the boiler doesn’t fire up as per the schedule however it works when I press manual button in heat link.

Apart from this the only thing to mention is that get odd notification saying nest service isn’t available right now try again. But then app connects immediately.

Any ideas what is going on? Boiler under warranty so engineer who fitted is returning next week.

first time using nest so anything to help me understand would be great.

thank you.

If the Nest and Heat link are connecting to each other, and it works in manual mode, you can try to use the app to force boiler to start.

Let us know if the installer finds the problem!
