The Nest 3rd gen has suddenly stopped heating. The hot water function is working fine and the pump on the conventional system kicks in. However the heating is not working. I turn the thermostat up high and can hear a click on the heat link but the heating does not kick in. Any tips?

Hello @ShayB
Thanks for reaching out to our Nest community about the Nest thermostat. I'm so sorry to hear about this situation. Don't worry, I'm happy to help you with it.
Let me start by asking if you tried to put the Heat Link in manual mode. You need to press the Heat Link's button once to activate manual mode and check if the heating is on.
Do you see a specific error code on your display?
Feel free to keep sharing these details with me, and I will definitely do my best to find a solution for you.
Best regards,
Douglas.

Hi Douglas - Thanks for the reply. When I turn on the heat link manually the pump kicks in. However, the heating is in a permanent OFF mode no matter how high I turn the heating to. I think it’s just the water starting up and not the heating

Hello @ShayB
Thanks for your reply. I appreciate the details you provided me. Let's take a look for an answer.
Given the situation you describe, I must recommend that you contact a technician to check your heating system. It may be that a heating valve is stuck or that the heat link is not sending the correct indications. In both cases, we would need a technician to determine the error and provide you with a solution to this situation.
