Hello,
My Nest heatlink suddenly died yesterday. There were no power cuts in my house. I have tried all the steps listed in the community posts (reset, power cycle, charge the thermostat, etc) but no joy--the heatlink is dead. The thermostat is out of warranty for a year now, but I would have expected it to work a bit longer than warranty+1 year.
Please advise.

Hello,
I contacted Google support directly, and they have arranged a replacement Heatlink which was installed succesfully today. The replacement unit is slightly different from the original, which means I have some wiring visible. But most importantly, the thermostat is working, and the heatlink is tucked away out of sight, so the visible wiring is not a big issue.
Kudos to Google for solving this problem with minimum fuss, and to their UK installation partner Boxt for a smooth booking experience and professional installation.
