So I know that the nest learning and E thermostat cannot link to the Google home app by themselves. Rather you need to set them up through the nest app first.
My question is, with Google moving to ADT I assume one day the nest app will go away. If I am correct, will the nest learning and E thermostat migrate to Google home, OR will customers be forced to purchase a new thermostat?
I could also ask the same question about the nest outdoor wired cameras, as it seems these also require the nest app in order to show up on the Google home app.
Appreciate any insights anyone may have...or a confirmation from a Google rep that these products will be migrated to the home app would also be great to see.

@Dan_K1 ,
At this time the Nest Learning models are on supported on the Nest App. Before the Nest App goes away, if it even does, Google will have a replacement app or migration strategy. The key will be to ensure ease of use and the features provided by the Nest App must be included an any replacement.
