Hi folks,
I recently bought a used nest learning thermostat 3rd gen and installed it on my system. I got two problems with it:
1. It is easy to pop out from the base. When I hit the lower part of the face of the Nest to select an option it will pop out. The wires are flat and there is no obstruction. I believe it was used for years and the contact between the thermostat and base is worn out too much.
2. The thermostat sensor displays a higher temperature than the room temperature of 3F (reading from two nest temperature sensors) when I turn on farsight feature. I realize that the farsight feature makes the thermostat warm because of the high activity in the room where it is located.
I have a Nest E and it works like a charm. I just want to change to Nest learning to have a fancy look.
Does anybody have the same experience?
Thanks,
Daac

Hey there dacng,
I apologize about the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that issue with the Thermostat popping out? If not, I'd be happy to help out, as I can imagine that is is pretty annoying. Let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:
I look forward to your response, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know!
Best regards,
Jeran
