Just installed nest learning thermostat v3 and 1st thing I noticed was long the cooling cycles are. I set my temp to 78 degrees and it will run my AC for a whole hour.
I just switched from the ecobee premium because I hated how it didn’t have a robust home/away feature. But man that thing was so much more efficient and comfortable. It would cycle every 15-20 minutes and always maintained 78 degrees plus/minus 1 degree.
with the nest, I have been completely disappointed. I have been manually adjusting the temp because I would feel cold when the cycle runs long and feel hot when it’s off for extended time.
anyway to fix this?

The system turned off after pulling off the display. What does that means?

Hi there,
Thanks for the follow-up information. If the system turns off, then this is not caused by the transistors. So, we should investigate whether the behavior is caused by power sharing, miswiring, or other system causes. It's also possible that this is normal behavior for your system. Check on the following:

Hi everyone,
I'm sorry for the delay. I know it's been a while already. I'd like to know more about your concerns.
@Dav2, thanks for letting us know. A few questions: what type of Nest Thermostat do you have? In what country are you located? Please provide your thermostat's power reading.
@I-c, thanks for providing the information above. It looks like your Nest Thermostat detects sufficient power coming from the wires. The readings indicate as well that you have a C wire. How's your thermostat? Does the issue persist?
I appreciate the input, Zoe.
Kind regards,
Jenelyn
