Just hooked up nest thermostat- my old one had a jumper between the Rc and Rh. After completing set up there is no option for cooling. How do I get the thermostat to recognize the need for the automatic jumper.

Hey Ron,

I would be more than happy to assist you and ensure your system is working properly. Do you mind sending a picture of your current wire set up for me to review? Let me know once that has been sent and I'll be happy to take a closer look.

I have the same problem. Trying to move from a Sensi.  Three wires which were on Red to RH, Blue to Y, and White to W/E.  On the Google Nest I have them on red to R, white to W, and blue to Y.  As I understand it, red is 24 volt, white is for the furnace, and blue is for AC.  No error messages, but setup doesn't recognize AC.  Help, please.  I initially had blue on C, but that makes no sense since nothing attaches to the AC post.
