Like so many, I am not receiving an email verification code for my Nest login.
I have added nest.com and account@nest.com to my providers whitelist.
I also AM able to receive password reset email to the nest email address so I know the domain is not being blocked by my provider.
So now I can no longer control my thermostat remotely which will be annoying as it gets colder.
I also tried using google login but that still needs nest confirmation code.
At this point I may as well go back to an old honeywell thermostat!!
Any other tips?

Hey there Mouldy,
Sorry to hear that you're not receiving an email verification code for your Nest login, while you are receiving emails for other things from Nest. I understand it can be frustrating, but I'm happy to look into this for you.
I would suggest double checking your email address to make sure there are no typos, as well as that it's the correct email address. Another tip, sometimes the Nest emails do not want to go to @hotmail domains, so if you can, use a @gmail.com email address and it should go through.
Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
Best regards,
Garrett DS

I factory reset the Nest thermostat and then used my gmail email. This appears to have worked though would have preferred to have continued with the plusnet email. But guess google only wants you using their emails which is a pain. But at least I can login now
