I've got a 3rd gen Nest that has been working fine up until a few days ago when temps got down into the high teens. The unit says its heating, but the temperature keeps dropping. When I let it "rest" for 30ish minutes by turning it Off it does tend to actually turn the heating unit on again, but overnights have gotten cold. I've both Reset and Restarted the Nest and continue to have this issue.

Also having this problem. Our heating engineer said it would need to be a new Nest for £200, Google won't help as it's 50 days outside of warranty!

Curious what heating system you have? Heat pump? Traditional? Baseboards?

I’m having about the same problem. I think it’s in the temperature balance settings. It cuts out the outside unit when the temperature falls below a certain temperature. https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9248719?hl=en#zippy=%2Cchange-heat-pump-balance-setting...
heres a link to instructions.

Thanks so much for sharing. We have a standard boiler (not heat pump) so not sure I can follow these instructions.
Our other Google products ( speakers) are now also playing up so I'm wondering if it's an issue with Google home!
Have emailed customer services 3 times and heard nothing back. Absolutely shocking service, wish I'd never bought Google products
