I use a nest thermostat and sensors to manage temperatures for an apartment building. They are basic features missing that I need. For example, I want to be able to set it so that the boiler kicks on whenever a minimum temperature is reached on one of the sensors. I need to be able to set routines where I get a text message if temperatures fall below a certain point on any of the sensors. This seems like very basic functionality. I do a lot of these automations using smart things but smart things doesn't allow me to do automations on the sensors and neither does Google home or nest.

Hey BellyoftheBeast,
Thanks for reaching out! It sounds like you're dealing with some limitations in the current features of your Nest Thermostat and Nest Temperature Sensor for managing temperatures in your apartment building.
I understand that the current integrations with SmartThings, Google Home/Nest don't fully meet your needs. Hopefully, future updates or the exploration of third-party solutions can offer the additional functionalities you're looking for in managing your apartment building's temperatures effectively. With this, please let our team know about it by sharing feedback about Google Nest.
If you have any specific questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.
Best regards,
Mark
