Nest setup on home app wont's recognize my google account

Trying to setup a new nest, all is connected find, during the setup on the home app it askes for me to select my google account and it just stick in a loop

Same, I'm also stuck in a loop while trying to add Nest to my Google Home. Google Home sends me to Nest and Nest tells me to add the device in Google Home. It keeps sending me back an forth... Looping...

I've seen other customers report this kind of loop when they are not on the latest version of either the Google Nest app or the Google Home app.

Are you using these instructions to install your Nest Thermostat in the Google Home app, starting with Add + | Set up device | New Devices:

If you have a Nest Learning Thermostat or Nest Thermostat E, you need to install it in the Google Nest app:

If these instructions aren't working, you could try the "Contact us" option at the bottom of the instructions.

I wanted to ensure that everything was covered here. How's it going with your thermostats? Were you able to successfully add them in the Google Home app? Restarting the thermostat might help by removing the batteries for at least 3 minutes before plugging them back in.Please let us know if that helps.
