Nest showing wrong indoor temp

My nest is reading that it’s 62* in my house, no way that’s possible. I had the ac off for 4 days prior to moving in, it was in the high 70’s outside at that time. Is there a way to recalibrate the temp sensor? Thanks.

Hi Rdefries73,

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with the ambient temperature reading of your Nest Thermostat. I'd love to know more about this and I have a few questions:

  • What type of Nest thermostat do you have?
  • Do you have a separate thermometer so we can test if it's reading the wrong temperature?
  • Is there any sources of heat near your Nest Thermostat?

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Edward
