Nest thermo 3rd gen doesnt rotate propely and randomly selects stuff

My 3rd gen nest thermostat has become difficult to turn.  It also randomly select things or jumps around screens when rotating.  I have new WiFi so need to out the new WiFi password in, but can even get to the screen

I'm not sure, we usually use the app and have no need to use the actual device until now.

Hi Ekul,

Thank you for your response. I recommend you restart your device. Please follow these steps:

Option 1: Through the Nest thermostat settings

Go to Settings > Reset > Restart.

Option 2: Manual restart

Press down on the thermostat until the screen turns off (approximately 10 seconds), then release. Press and release the ring to turn the screen back on and complete the restart process.
