Nest thermostat 3 - new model?

Hello.

We are about to buy several new nest thermostats for our new home, before we do I wanted to know if there was a new version on the horizon? Has there been any noise or articles about a replacement for the 3 which is a few years old now.

Not heard or seen any announcements about any new models. If I were to guess, I'd suggest it's more likely Google will release Nest Thermostat Gen 2 as all new products are being designed for the Home app, not the Nest app, which the learning thermostat models use.
