Thanks for posting here in the Community forum and for showing interest in our Nest Thermostats. No, it is not possible to directly wire three zones off of a single Nest Thermostat. Nest Thermostats control a single heating or cooling zone, requiring each zone to regulate temperature independently. To control multiple zones with individual temperature control, a separate thermostat is needed for each zone, which must be wired to its respective zone and connected to the HVAC system. In a multi-zone setup, each thermostat communicates with its own zone damper or control system, allowing for individual control and customization of temperature settings. Additional equipment like zone dampers and a zone control panel may be required.
