Nest thermostat E not showing orange when heat on

I already have a second gen nest now have them both on my app . One works upstairs other downstairs separate system as new build home.  2nd generation displays orange when heat is on on the app , the E thermostat does not just white on the app and thermostat itself ? Any ideas please
