Hoping someone can help out with wiring a Nest Power Connector. I followed the basic instructions for the power connector and the breaker in the panel wanted to trip.
Here is an image of the board.
Starting with the top row of 5 the diagram on the furnace is this: 1=L, 2=R, 3=O , 4= C, 5 = W3. Second row of 4: 6=G, 7=W2, 8=Y , 9=E
Current wiring on the board has red thermostat wire to 2 (R), 4 has a thicker yellow wire from electric supply, 6 has green thermostat wire, 7 (W2) has a jumper to 9 (E) and white thermostat wire to 7.
The blue thermostat wire is pigtailed to thicker yellow wire that is also from electric supply. This yellow wire is different than the one connected to terminal 5.
When I connected the power connector Red to 2 (Red), C to 4 (C), G to 6 (G), W to 7 (W2), Y to pigtail.
Any suggestions?
