Nest thermostat e

Purchased one of these.. unpacked it, connected it to my app via qr code but when I went to plug the base unit in to the wall with the nest plug it does not power up.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get round this please?

@Paul25 , one of the steps you can take is to take the display turn it over. There is a micro USB connector on the back. Plug it into a wall charger and charge it for 24 hours. Then when you put it back onto the back late then you can then run power test and stuff like that without it running out of power.

A few questions: Have you made sure that the power breaker to the Nest Thermostat E is on? s the thermostat's display seated properly? Also, are all the wires of your thermostat seated firmly in its terminals (with no loose or exposed wires)?
