Installed the Nest Thermostat gen 4 yesterday and set the heat to 54 degrees with the inside room temperature starting at 68. The unit continued to heat up to the mid 70s despite turning the thermostat off at around 71 degrees.
Removing the thermostat immediately turns the boiler off. Powering on the thermostat by re-affixing to the wall immediately turns the boiler on despite the heat being turned off on the thermostat settings.
Tried turning off Safety Temperatures and the Nest Sense features and resetting the thermostat, but same results.
Wiring: W1 (heat) / Rh (power)
Previous Thermostat Wiring: W1 / Rh with a jump to Rc
Heat Source: Oil
Heat Type: Radiators
Appreciate any suggestions/support. Thanks!

Hi AngryHam,
Thanks for reaching out to our community.
I understand it can be confusing if your thermostat continues to heat even though it shouldn't, but don't worry, let's check out your thermostat configuration and determine the best course of action.
Are there any error messages showing on your thermostat? I'd like to know if you experienced any power outages or strange behavior on your system after turning the breakers back on after installation.
Please check if all the schedules on the Google Home app have been cleared and that your thermostat's wires are properly inserted in the terminals. Just make sure to turn off the power before and then check each wire connector and ensure they are properly inserted. If necessary, feel free to re-strip and straighten your wire ends so you can make sure they make proper contact.
What power information do you get when checking the technical info on your thermostat display?
Let me know what you find out.
Regards,
Angel.
